BioHeather. 26. Living in my mother's attic in the 'burbs of Connecticut.
After seven painful years, I'm a college graduate (B.A. in Liberal Studies from the University of Hartford). And after nine painful years, I'm still working a retail job that pays me less than ten dollars an hour.
I'm single. But I do have a child of the feline persuasion (Asia, 13).
I spend most of my waking hours watching television, listening to music, or doing various unproductive things on the internet (like blogging, ha). Failing that, I have a handful of good friends that I love dearly and accordingly sometimes hang out with.
I've maintained this journal, on and off, since 2002. I'm nothing if not moderately dedicated to chronicling my typically mundane life. I try to find humor in what happens to me day by day, as lackluster as it may be, while I figure out what to do next.
